Kieran and Shannon sure loved the train. Little Shannon, kicked her legs furiously every time the train ride ended. Just like he previous year, we were the last ones there riding the train over and over. The only difference this year we could almost fill the train.

Princess or Socialite???

Polly is a little indecisive when it come to dressing herself, these days if she has not had on 3 outfits by noon she is just not happy. You can be the judge, do you prefer her as a princess or do you prefer the socialite look, of course the socialites these days are such bad examples on our youth, I am really not happy that she is going for the topless socialite:-) The Christmas bow was her own personal touch, I am expecting that trend to hit this summer.

Introducing...
Minnie, Daisy and Ruby Power. These are our new batch of chicks, for those of you counting that makes 5, we are still expecting a few more. They are day old baby chicks and so cute I can hardly stand it. For any other chicken enthusiast these girls have come from McMurray Hatchery. We went in with a few of our neighbors because the minimum order is 25. So far the girls are spunky and very lively, really good signs. They have been taught to eat and drink (you have to teach them) how they survive in the wild I have no idea. Minnie is the black Barred Rock, Daisy is a Cochin and Ruby is an Americanus. Ruby is unique, as she will lay blue and green eggs.

Suprise Tia!
This past weekend we borrowed the minivan and headed to AZ. With the help of Jon we surprises Tia for her 30th Birthday. It was so much fun (minus the 6 hour car ride). Piper and Polly loved surprising Katie. We went to a fantastic park near Katie's school that has a working train and a merry-go-round. We also got to catch up with Joanie, Jon's mama. We went out to a yummy breakfast at the Good Egg. It was all very fun and wonderful to be in Phoenix with Katie for her big 30.
