Just a few more...

Here are some more pictures of our first day at home. We are on day 3 now and things are going well, trying to figure out how to accommodate all our little ones. Today, Polly headed to work with Andrew, Piper was off to school where she had a great day and Harrison kept me busy here. Gigi and Grampy came up here to help too, as I have always said it takes a village. We are so lucky!

Sentimental Beginings!

This outfit little Hudson is wearing is so special. It is the same outfit that Grampy wore home from the hospital and the same one Harrison wore home. It is now tradition and I just adore seeing him in it, so special! The top picture is Harrison, the bottom Hudson.

Welcome Home Hudson!

Today, we got to bring Hudson home from the hospital. So far, so good, we have been trying to take it easy and relax as tomorrow it is full steam ahead! It is always just so great to get home and out of the hospital.

More at the Hospital

Here are some more pictures of Hudson meeting the family...

Hudson meets the fam:-)

On Saturday the girls and "big bro" as we have been calling him got to come and meet little Hudson. The girls are so natural with him i is so amazing to watch. Hap was a little unsure, but super sweet to the "baby", as he called him. He did fall a part a tiny bit as you can see the picture of him laying on the floor. It was a wonderful first meeting and it was amazing to have our family together for the first time!

Hudson Timothy Power

Was welcomed into the world on Sept 25, 2009. He weighed 7lbs and 4oz. He was 20 inches long. He was the tiniest Power baby yet, but healthy and perfect in every way! Andrew, Gigi and Tia were all there to help me get through labor. Harrison spent the night with Gigi, Grampy, Tia and Jon while the girls had their first sleep over at the Kolakowski's. We could not have done it without all the wonderful help! We now have 4 healthy and happy little ones to complete our family!

September 25, 2009

What an exciting day, the day little Hudson Timothy Power, comes into our world. Mommy began having contractions and wanted to keep busy. She picked up Piper early from school, so she could go check on Grampy who had just had surgery. We went and got him chicken noodle soup and the girls and Hap devoured it. Mommy called Daddy and asked him to come home from work. We headed to the hospital around 4:30. Poor Grampy, could not make it, he was still feeling under the weather (well I guess that is an understatement) because he would have done anything to be there. At 7:06 little Hudson was born, he was sunny side up, his head was pushing into my back (ouch). 3 pushes and there he was, what a miracle. This picture is of the fam right before we headed to the hospital.

Dinner with the Girls

A last minute dinner at Zazou was just what I needed before Baby #4 arrives, thanks so much Mumsy! The highlight for me was the 3 different desserts they brought out for us, heaven, dessert never taste so good 9 months preggers:-) It was so fun to catch up (sans little ones) and have great conversation (sometimes lacking with the 3 little ones in tow:-)

Polly goes to Disneyland

Since Piper got to go to Vegas and see the Lion King, Polly has been busily planning her trip, with Gigi and Grampy, she had some grand plans. She told us all she would be headed to Disney for and "overnight" adventure. She also wanted to make stops at the "Bad Kitty" ride (Alice in Wonderland), the "big" Disney store, have Mickey waffles and see the night time parade (not too much to ask, right). From all accounts it seems like Polly has had a magical time, she sure is lucky to have such good sports as her grandparents:-)

This trip they even got upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite and Polly got to ride the merry-go-round a few times while they took pictures of her for some Disney internet segment. What a fun trip!

Piper's 1st Day of Kindergarten

I do not know where the time has gone, but out little Pipey Pie started kindergarten today. She did great. We walked with all the neighbors in the Lanes. She held my hand, so flattering. Andrew pushed Polly and Hap in the stroller, Polly did not want to walk. The drop off was painless, at least for Piper, she quickly found the boys she knows and settled in with them. Tonight we are headed to a neighborhood pizza party to celebrate the days events!
