Polly Pie Turns 3

How can it be our little Polly is 3 years old. She rang in her third birthday at Disneyland followed by a lunch at Rain Forest Cafe. Little Polly was in a bit of a mood on her big day, it was hot and she wanted to stay cool ( I can't blame her). All and all it was a wonderful day filled with sunshine, laughter and yummy food.

Beach Day with Grampy

Piper got to spend the entire afternoon with Grampy at the beach today. She picked up at least 100 shells and rocks, which she is excited to take in and share with her class. She had a wonderful afternoon, jumping the waves and enjoying the extra warm weather we are having.

The Celebration Cntinues

Of course, Polly had some ideas of things she wanted for her special day. She requested a princess cake with vanilla on the inside, she said "I don't want that chocolate, only vanilla" we hope that Polly's expectations were met.

Lunch at Rainforest Cafe

We have never been here before, for the kids it was a real hit. The swinging monkeys and huge fish tank were real crowd pleasers. The chocolate volcano was also a huge hit with he kids and adults:-)

polly pie Heads to School

Polly started school, so far it has not been the easiest transition for Polly. She is going 3 days a week to Piper's school (they prefer 5, but I can't bear it). Her teacher is Miss Nance and she is wonderful. Polly has fought me every single morning," she dose not want school" one day I am sure she will thank me, but for now she is not pleased, not pleased at all! Here is a great picture of her and Piper headed off (the wear uniforms, lord knows, I would never dress them in khaki and navy by choice:-)
